Leeds / Bradford Branch News (Chairman: Maj R Edmondson) Following our normal practice a “Committee Meeting” was held on 10th March 2004 at the Metropole Hotel Leeds, when the agenda was to decide where and when our two social events were to be held. It was agreed that our first outing to wherever would take place on 2nd June and with this in mind various destinations were discussed. Eventually it was decided on Castle Howard and a very good choice it turned out to be. Our members and their wives travelled by coach and a good time was had by all. We were fortunate to choose a lovely sunny day which certainly helped. Then on 13th October our members with their wives met a Nash’s Fish Restaurant Leeds, for supper which again was a great success. A Happy and Healthy New Year to you all and don’t forget our next meeting will be held in March 2005 when we meet to discuss our programme for the year. Details will be circulated at a later date.
