Anyone considering themselves entitled should comply with the instructions thereto attached. The Association Secretary, having spoken to the responsible Veterans' Association Secretary, is not in a position to assist as he keeps no records of service. I venture to approach you for your assistance if possible please. As a 73 year old ex-serviceman I am compiling my second paper back A5 size 'Rank Humour' book of funny stories, amusing experiences, jokes, tales, anecdotes, poems and precious moments of life in, and associated with, all branches of HM Armed Forces. Three generations of my family served with the 'Royal Tigers'. All proceeds will go to the Royal Leicestershire Regiment Association Museum Fund. Is it possible I may be permitted to appeal for articles through your website or Association journal please? The kindness of your consideration to my request would be appreciated as, indeed, the favour of your reply. Yours faithfully, Clifford Newton, Bishop Tozers Chapel, Middlemarsh Road, Burgh-le-Marsh, Skegness, Lincolnshire, PE24 5AD. Tel: 01754-768401. 23045386 Cpl. They would like to hear from you with your memories of technical and social/sporting activities, whether you were a programmer or systems manager. If you have any photographs or documents they can scan them and return them to you.
